We provide written mock tests in English, maths, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning for the following entrance exams:

Mock Exam Structure

Our mock exams are carried out under real exam conditions and meet the requirements for both grammar and private school entry. They cover most of the topics and techniques likely to be examined. Mock tests help familiarise your child with the 11 Plus exam setting – helping to reduce stress and anxiety. Feedback via email will be sent to parents 5-10 working days later with total score, percentile score, percentile ranking, topics of improvement and suggestions of improvement.

Interviews are personalised: children will be questioned appropriate to their age and school of choice. Parents and students inform us this interview practice is invaluable: boosting confidence, reassuring anxiety and preparing them for success. A full report will be provided to parents after the mock interview with strengths and tips for improvement

Our mock exams follow the same structure as 11 Plus, 7 Plus or 8 Plus tests. The table below displays our mock test lengths and fees.

Note: A maximum of three papers and an interview can be taken in one day.

Once mock tests are booked in, we will be notifying participants their specific drop off and pick up times between the times shown below.

Mock Test Fees

Each mock test costs £60 per subject hence £120 for two subjects. Additional interview practice costs £60 and will be completed either before or after both mock tests are finished. However, due to time constraints and in order to provide the most beneficial experience for the students, we limit the amount of subjects to a maximum of 3 on the day (interviews not included).

To secure your space this needs to be paid before the mock test date. This kind of exam practice is highly recommended because using this ‘teach and test’ approach enables the children to familiarise themselves with the methods, techniques and timing requirements for each subject. This has a huge impact on confidence, dealing with exam stress and working efficiently within a set time-frame. Parents also receive a feedback report within 10 days of the child sitting the test, allowing for reflection and review. An expedited feedback report is available for a fee (please contact us for more details). All materials will be provided on the day. Just like the real exam, there is a 10-15 minutes break between each paper. Places on these tests are strictly limited and we would encourage early booking to avoid disappointment.
