With 4 hours of lessons each day, your child will focus on all areas of a specific topic to understand how to improve and gain those crucial marks to stand out and beat the competition. Course topics include: maths revision, comprehension, creative writing, grammar and vocabulary, non-verbal reasoning, verbal reasoning, spatial reasoning and logic.
Our courses are ideal for children competing in both online and written papers, and are suitable for any school exam style including: ISEB, GL, CEM, ATOM, Durham, independent school tests and grammar school tests.
Held online, children benefit from responsive teaching with highly experienced tutors in small groups of just 2-4 children per tutor. Our tutors have a 98% success rate with students gaining 9+, 10+ and 11+ places consistently This ensures your child’s focus and understanding is maintained for maximum benefit throughout each course.

Maths revision 1 : This short course will cover the complex relationship of fractions, decimals, percentages and ratios, which your child will certainly encounter in their 10+ exam. Revising and extending their knowledge, children will leave the course with a stronger understanding of the subject. They will also gain confidence in tackling the variety of question types including short form, long form and worded questions.
Maths revision 2: This course tackles the popular 10+ topics: algebra, volume and surface area. Your child will reinforce their current understanding, develop their techniques answering the different question types and explore the most efficient methods to answer the word problems.
Comprehension: Covering different question types commonly found in reading and comprehension papers including retrieval and inference, children are taught to boost their scores in both multiple choice tests and written papers – making this an ideal course for any school exam preparation.
Creative writing: Children are taught to write a high quality piece showcasing their individuality with memorable tricks to boost their score for the 10+ creative writing test.
Non-verbal reasoning and spatial reasoning: A crash course in all of the non verbal reasoning question types. Tips and tricks are shared and common spatial reasoning questions are studied.
Verbal reasoning and logic: Covering all of the verbal reasoning question types and logic questions commonly found in ISEB, GL, CEM, ATOM and independent school papers.
Vocabulary and grammar: Spelling, punctuation, grammar and vocabulary are candidates’ common difficulties. This course teaches children the most popular rules for all 4 in just 4 hours.
Maths problem solving: A course ideal for children who need revision and assistance in tackling tricky word problems found at the end of test papers. This course is particularly useful for children trying for competitive independent and grammar schools.
