The 11+ Easter Course is an inspiring and enjoyable 4 day course designed to build confidence and knowledge in the imperative subjects needed to pass the 11+ exams: Mathematics, creative writing, comprehension, non verbal reasoning and verbal reasoning. Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning so students can truly achieve mastery in the subjects. In addition, we will be helping children implement vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.
This course is suitable for Year 5 children preparing for both independent schools and grammar schools in and around London. How is our course structured?
The Easter Course is a 4 day course running from 10am – 3.30pm each day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first 2 days of the course are dedicated to mathematics and non-verbal reasoning. The last two days of the course focus on comprehension, creative writing and verbal-reasoning. Class size is limited, with a 7:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure focused and effective learning. All classwork, homework, mock exams, assessments, online practice questions/assessments are included.
A mock exam takes place at the beginning of the course, so we can identify children’s weaknesses and respond accordingly by helping fill in the gaps or extending their knowledge to a greater depth. This will also allow us to group children appropriately throughout the course, enabling every child to be stretched and reach their full potential. After the course, a written report with honest feedback and recommendations is emailed to parents ensuring parents are abreast of the insights we gather during the course.
These intensive courses are perfect for making the most of your child’s Easter holidays. Despite the intensive tuition, the class environment and lesson structure is built to be fun and engaging. Who is the 11 Plus Easter course for?
The 11 Plus Easter Course caters for children in year 5. Whether your child has been preparing for several years or several days, we welcome all children to join the course no matter what stage of the entrance exam journey they are at.
To ensure children receive maximum benefit, children will be grouped according to ability and year group. This course is recommended for students in Year 5 preparing for either independent school or grammar school 11+ entrance exams. If your child is in Year 4 and currently preparing for the 11+ exams, we recommend your child enrols in our 10+ courses.

Each course differs and focuses on a different set of skill sets that will greatly benefit your child in exams and in later life. We recommend your child repeat our 11+ courses at different dates in order to cover everything necessary for the 11+ exams.
Additionally, we provide 1 Day topic-specific crash courses for deep dives into key areas. These include Maths (maths word problems and maths puzzles), English (creative writing,  comprehension, creative comprehension/creative analysis) and reasoning (non verbal, spatial reasoning and verbal reasoning).
