An inspiring and enjoyable 4 day course designed to build confidence and knowledge in the imperative subjects needed to pass the 10+ exams: Mathematics, creative writing, comprehension, non verbal reasoning and verbal reasoning. Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning as well as highlight the essential skills needed in exams to boost grades.
The 10+ Easter Course is a focused, four-day intensive programme designed to strengthen pupils’ confidence, understanding and exam technique across the key subjects required for success in the 10 Plus entrance exams: maths, English comprehension, creative writing, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.
This course places particular emphasis on helping children make clear connections between maths and English skills and their application within verbal and non-verbal reasoning questions. By developing this deeper understanding, pupils are better equipped to approach unfamiliar problems with confidence and accuracy. Throughout the course, tutors also introduce and reinforce essential exam techniques to help pupils work efficiently and maximise marks under timed conditions.
The course is suitable for Year 4 pupils preparing for both independent and grammar school entrance exams in London and the surrounding areas. Over the past 12 years, we have successfully supported over 900 children in gaining places at leading schools including Dulwich College, Emanuel School, City of London School, Kingston Grammar School, and many others.
The 10 Plus Easter Course runs over four consecutive days, from 10:00am to 3:30pm each day. The programme is carefully managed by our senior course team, who collectively bring over 20 years of experience in entrance exam preparation.

Class sizes are deliberately kept small, with a maximum 7:1 pupil-to-tutor ratio, ensuring focused teaching and individual attention. All coursebooks and learning materials are provided during the course and returned to pupils at the end, allowing them to revisit topics covered in class and practise areas identified as sticking points before their exams.
A mock exam is completed at the start of the course to help identify each child’s current strengths and areas for development. This information is used to group pupils appropriately and adapt teaching throughout the week, ensuring every child is both supported and challenged.
Following the course, parents receive a detailed written report within 10 working days containing honest feedback and clear recommendations, providing valuable insight into their child’s progress and next steps.

The 10 Plus Easter Course is designed primarily for Year 4 pupils preparing for 10+ independent school entrance exams, as well as Year 4 pupils who are beginning focused preparation for 11+ independent and grammar school assessments.
The course is suitable for children at different stages of their preparation. Whether your child has been preparing steadily over time or is relatively new to the entrance exam process, the structured and supportive nature of the course allows pupils to benefit regardless of their starting point.
To ensure each child gains maximum value from the course, pupils are grouped according to both year group and ability, allowing teaching to be appropriately paced and targeted.
