Who is the 13+ Maths Crash Course for?
The 13+ Maths Crash Course is designed for students at different stages of their Common Entrance preparation, whether they are building foundational skills or preparing for scholarship-level assessments.
Foundation Level
Designed for Year 7 and early Year 8 students who are either new to 13+ maths or working to close gaps in their understanding. This level builds core confidence by revisiting essential topics such as arithmetic, fractions, ratios, and basic algebra — aligned with the ISEB Foundation syllabus.
Core Level
Aimed at Year 8 students preparing for the ISEB Core exam or applying to selective independent or grammar schools. This level focuses on helping students apply their maths knowledge to typical 13+ exam questions, including multi-step reasoning, data handling, and working under time pressure.
Scholarship Level
Suitable for high-achieving Year 8 students preparing for the Common Academic Scholarship Exam (CASE) or school-set scholarship tests at schools like Eton, Westminster, Winchester, and St Paul’s. The course focuses on advanced topics, complex problem-solving, and structured written solutions beyond the standard syllabus.
Complete the Full Pathway
Many families choose to take all three courses in sequence — Foundation, Core, and Scholarship — for complete revision, mastery, and challenge. This step-by-step approach helps students solidify understanding and build confidence throughout their 13+ journey.
