What is the 11+ Creative Comprehension Course?
Our 1 Day 11+ Creative Comprehension Course is built to provide your child with the techniques and confidence to tackle the unique Creative Comprehension (also known as Creative Analysis) tests found in the 11+ exams for City of London Boys School and the London Consortium Schools.
Children will work on their deduction, inference, extraction and organisation of information as well as evaluation, comparison, identification of patterns and links, and logic. Students will be taught how to respond to a range of materials, which could be visual, numerical or written, and through comprehension, be able to draw pertinent conclusions about them.
In one day, your child will revise and harness their skills in a face-to-face classroom environment, filling in any remaining gaps in knowledge and bringing their existing knowledge to a more advanced level. Course content includes:

How is the 11+ Creative Comprehension Course structured?
Your child will receive 4 hours of lessons spread over a day. Each lesson will be according to our structured Creative Comprehension program and the 11 Plus syllabus. Students are instructed in topic and techniques showing them how to answer questions in the correct way, giving them the means to handle any new type of problem as they progress.
We have created several themed courses designed to provide your child with extensive exposure to the creative analysis section of the 11+ or 10+ exams.
