Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning as well as highlight the essential skills needed in exams to boost grades.

Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning so students can truly achieve mastery in the subjects. In addition, we will be helping children implement vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.
This course is suitable for Year 4 children preparing for both independent schools and grammar schools in and around London. How is our course structured?
The Easter Course is a 4 day course running from 10am – 3.30pm each day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first two days of the course (Monday and Tuesday) are dedicated to mathematics and non-verbal reasoning. The last two days of the course (Wednesday and Thursday) focus on comprehension, creative writing and verbal-reasoning. Class size is limited, with a 7:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure focused and effective learning. Coursebooks and materials are provided throughout the course and returned to students at the end, allowing them to revise what was taught in class or practise topics our tutors have identified as sticking points before taking their exams.
A mock exam takes place at the beginning of the course, so we can identify children’s weaknesses and respond accordingly by helping fill in the gaps or extending their knowledge to a greater depth. This will also allow us to group children appropriately throughout the course, enabling every child to be stretched and reach their full potential. After the course, a written report with honest feedback and recommendations is emailed to parents ensuring parents are abreast of the insights we gather during the course.

Who is the 10 Plus Easter course for?
The 10 Plus Easter Course is designed for Year 4 students preparing for 10+ independent school entrance exams, as well as Year 4 students gearing up for 11+ independent and grammar school exams. Whether your child has been preparing for years or is just starting their journey, this course welcomes all students, regardless of their current stage in the process.
To ensure children receive maximum benefit, children will be grouped according to ability and year group. If your child is in Year 3 and currently preparing for the 10+ exams, we recommend your child enrols in our 9+ Easter Course.
