Unlike previous courses, this course aims to connect children’s understanding in Maths and English to Verbal/Non Verbal Reasoning so students can truly achieve mastery in the subjects. In addition, we will be helping children implement vital exam techniques so they can boost their scores in exam situations.
This course is suitable for Year 3 children preparing for both independent schools and grammar schools in and around London. We have successfully prepared over 800 children over the past 12 years for schools such as: Dulwich College, King’s College School and much more…
How is our course structured?
The Easter Course is a 4 day course running from 10am – 3.30pm each day. It is managed by our course instructors who possess over 20 years of experience in exam preparation collectively. The first two days of the course (Monday and Tuesday) are dedicated to mathematics and non-verbal reasoning. The last two days of the course (Wednesday and Thursday) focus on comprehension, creative writing and verbal-reasoning. Class size is limited, with a 7:1 student-to-tutor ratio to ensure focused and effective learning. All classwork, homework, mock exams, assessments, online practice questions/assessments are included.
A mock exam takes place at the beginning of the course, so we can identify children’s weaknesses and respond accordingly by helping fill in the gaps or extending their knowledge to a greater depth. This will also allow us to group children appropriately throughout the course, enabling every child to be stretched and reach their full potential. After the course, a written report with honest feedback and recommendations is emailed to parents ensuring parents are abreast of the insights we gather during the course.

Who is the 9 Plus Easter course for?
The 9 Plus Easter Course is designed for Year 3 students preparing for 9+ independent school entrance exams, as well as Year 3 students gearing up for 10+/11+ independent and grammar school exams. Whether your child has been preparing for years or is just starting their journey, this course welcomes all students, regardless of their current stage in the process.
To ensure children receive maximum benefit, children will be grouped according to ability and year group. If your child is in Year 2 and currently preparing for the 9+ exams, we recommend your child enrols in our 8+ Easter Course.
